JBC Preheaters

The application of JBC Preheaters is indispensable for rework on multi-layered PCBAs and/or large ground planes in order to avoid thermal shock and facilitate soldering as well as desoldering processes.

For an optimal result it is necessary to preheat the PCB and its components with controlled temperature profiles within the recommended limit values for each application. JBC Preheaters feature temperature profiles specially designed for this purpose and customizable according to need.

JBC Wire Strippers

The WSB wire stripper station  is specially designed for stripping wire insulations made of thermostable materials such as Teflon*, Kapton*, silicone, rubber, etc, from 34 to 16 AWG (0.16 to 1.29 mm) with temperatures up to 800 ºC / 1470 ºF.

The WSS station is specially designed for stripping wire insulations made of thermostable materials such as teflon*, kapton*, silicone rubber, etc, from 40 to 14 AWG (0.08 to 1.63 mm / 0.0031 to 0.0642 in) with temperatures up to 800ºC / 1470ºF.

Both stations incorporate predeterminated power levels for each type of material. In addition, it features a customizable power level mode.

Cartridge customization is available to satisfy any special requirement.

JBC Selective Soldering

JBC’s selective soldering increases repeatability and product quality by configuring each soldering point individually, adjusting the amount of solder needed and the soldering time, just heating the parts to be soldered.

JBC Fume Extractors

The JBC Fume Extractor FAE stations are the most effective solution to avoid exposure to solder fumes. Both the FAE1 and FAE2  fume extractors only operate when soldering to save power and extend the lifespan of the equipment including the filter. They also feature a unique vacuum system integrated into the stand – it detects when the tool is at rest and automatically absorbs excess fumes.

The FAE1 consists of FAE1110 Pre-filter and FAE1100 Filter (HEPA H13 + Carbon). This three-layered system achieves a certified efficiency of 99.95% in filtering soldering fumes, meeting EN 1822 standards.

Both the FAE1 and FAE2 can be controlled via JBC Stations, a pedal, a robotic system or a PC. They have 3 predefined levels of aspiration: low, medium and high. They also feature a custom mode where the airflow can be set within the minimum (10%) and maximum rates (100%).

JBC CL Manual Tip Cleaner

JBC’s CL Manual Tip Cleaner is a complete Manual Tip Cleaning System equipped with 3 different cleaning methods.

• Brass Wool: Very effective cleaning method. It leaves a small layer of solder on the tip to prevent oxidation between cleaning and rewetting.
• Sponge: The least harmful cleaning method. Keep the sponge moist with distilled water when working to avoid tip wear.
• Wiper: A temperature-resistant receptacle lets the operator remove excess solder by gentle tapping or wiping.

Its splashguard and antisplash membrane helps to keep the work area clean and free of solder particles.

JBC CLMS Automatic Tip Cleaner

This automatic cleaner improves thermal transfer of the tip in only 1 second, which means you save time and optimize production.

CL4008 Fiber Brushes supplied provides a soft cleaning, specially recommended in regular usage to improve
tip life.

The operator just needs to push the button of the opening with the tool and two motorized brushes will clean the tip. It is also possible to select the continuous mode.

The splashguard helps keep the bench always clean and free of Foreign Object Debris (FOD).

CLMS can be fitted into any work area thanks to its reduced size and it is very easy to maintain. The solder collector tray can be emptied and re-used with no wear and tear.
