Flex Cell
PVA Custom Selective Coating/Dispensing System

The Flex Cell is a custom three or four-axis robotic platform for dispensing a wide variety of adhesives, sealants, and conformal coatings. Each Flex Cell is designed to your specific application and with your desired options. The Flex Cell employs a robust gantry system featuring precision ball screw slides driven by brushless DC servo motors. Every axis of motion features optical encoder feedback for a truly closed-loop process.

The Delta 6 is a new, reimagined flexible robotic conformal coating/dispensing system that is ideal for selective coating, potting, bead, and meter-mix dispensing applications. The Delta 6 features a robust overhead three-axis motion platform suitable for inline or batch operations. Delta 6 has been designed with a slimmer footprint compared to previous models, improved structural and gantry rigidity for robustness, and easier access.

The Delta 8 is a flexible robotic conformal coating/dispensing system that is ideal for selective coating, potting, bead, and meter-mix dispensing applications. Conceptualized for maximum flexibility, the system can also be configured for custom assembly applications. Maintaining the preferred features of previous workcells, the Delta 8 features a robust overhead three-axis motion platform suitable for inline or batch operations. Improved structural and gantry rigidity have been added for robustness and easier access.

Endurance
PVA Dispensing Metering Module
Applications: Bonding, gasketing, potting
PVA’s Endurance dispensing package bundles multiple dispensing and pumping technologies into one complete and versatile solution. With a variety of available pumping systems and valve applicators, Endurance can be designed to meet your specific dispensing needs.
The dispensing control system on Endurance can be configured to operate as a standalone manual application or fixed valve application with a manual push button or foot pedal activation. It can also be integrated with a PVA automation workcell or with a customer provided automation system.
Endurance’s closed loop servo drive allows you to program a number of functions through a menu-driven HMI. Functions include shot size, mix ratio, flow rate, pressure control, auto purge, low material detection/warning, material color sensor, and vacuum degas.
The Endurance package provides a solution for a variety of applications including potting, gap filling, mold filling, bonding, gasketing, dosing and mixing, as well as dynamic mixing.
PVA-1GPU
PVA One Gallon Hydraulic Metering Pump
Applications: Thermal interface materials
The PVA-1GPU one-gallon hydraulic metering pump is ideal for dispensing highly abrasive, highly viscous pastes and compounds packaged in one-gallon metal pails. The PVA-1GPU extrudes material from the pail rather than pumping it like a typical reciprocating pump. The extrusion process minimizes shear and maintains material integrity.
The PVA-1GPU operates as a hydraulic press. Material is extruded from the pail as a hydraulic intensifier pump forces a ram and follower plate into the container. An opening in the center of the follower plate allows material to flow out of the pump and into high-pressure material lines to be dispensed.
The PVA-1GPU has many integrated features including:

- Virtually pulseless flow resulting in consistent bead diameter
- Only one moving pump component provides virtually maintenance-free operation

The PVA350 is a flexible three or four-axis robot that is suitable for virtually any benchtop of laboratory selective coating and automated dispensing application. It features a robust overhead motion platform employing brushless DC servo motors and precision ball screw slides. Encoder feedback on all axes assures a closed-loop process that is consistent and reliable. The PVA350 platform is enclosed for added protection during spray applications.
